The AJ3 or number 3 sticks have the same diameter as a Vic Firth 8Ds, but with a longer taper. This design adds rebound and decreases weight. This stick has a lighter touch that is ideal for jazz. AJ3s are characterized as effortless for a stick that feels like it plays itself.
