We are VERY excited to welcome Pickett Brass Mouthpieces for an in-store event on Saturday November 16th! Pickett Brass is a world renowned mouthpiece company that makes pieces for some of the best musicians in the world. Bring your horn, try out some mouthpieces, and meet the amazing Pickett Brass crew!

We are going to be hosting open mic nights every month! We encourage you or your group to come by and play for a live audience. This is a no-stress environment that is meant to provide performance opportunities, networking, and a chance to listen to and support local music! (It’s free!)
This is great for singer/songwriter artists, solo performers, and small groups. Woodsy’s Music will provide some backline gear to make it easier to get on stage and play! Listed below is what Woodsy’s Music will provide. Feel free to bring your own gear!

There is no particular style of music that must to be performed, but we ask that what is performed is family friendly. Time slots are 10 minutes long, with 5 minutes of setup time between each set, pack light! Performances do not need to meet the 10 minute mark, but should not go over 10 minutes in length. There will be a timer facing the stage to keep track of performance length.
There will be a sign-up sheet at the door and it is first come, first served. Sign up sheet gets put out at 5:30p on the day of the event. Please note that not all artists may get to perform due to any time constraints. We will do our best to get to as many performers as we can!
Outside food and drink is generally not permitted, but small snacks/drinks are acceptable. (Water bottles, soft drinks, chips, crackers, etc. are acceptable. Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.)
Please be respectful to all performers, this is not a competition. We encourage everyone to stay for all performances, and to stick around before/after the sets to talk and meet new people!
There is no compensation for performers.
Have pictures from a previous open mic night that you would like to share with us? Send photos/videos to jarrod@woodsys.com. If the files are too large, it may be easier to put them in to a Google Drive folder and share the link. Sharing the folder does not give us access to your full Google drive, only the folder you share with us.
