Event Calendar
We are going to be hosting open mic nights every month! Starting May 2024, we encourage you or your group to come by and play for a live audience. This is a no-stress environment that is meant to provide performance opportunities, networking, and a chance to listen to and support local music! (It’s free!)
This is great for singer/songwriter artists, solo performers, and small groups. Woodsy’s Music will provide some backline gear to make it easier to get on stage and play! Listed below is what Woodsy’s Music will provide. Feel free to bring your own gear!

There is no particular style of music that must to be performed, but we ask that what is performed is family friendly. Time slots are 10 minutes long, with 5 minutes of setup time between each set, pack light! Performances do not need to meet the 10 minute mark, but should not go over 10 minutes in length.
There will be a sign-up sheet at the door and it is first come, first served. Please note that not all artists may get to perform due to any time constraints. We will do our best to get to as many performers as we can!
Outside food and drink is generally not permitted, but small snacks/drinks are acceptable. (Water bottles, soft drinks, chips, crackers, etc. are acceptable. Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.)
Please be respectful to all performers, this is not a competition. We encourage everyone to stay for all performances, and to stick around before/after the sets to talk and meet new people!
There is no compensation for performers.

The Bobby Selvaggio 11 will be performing, along with Bobby himself giving a clinic in the same evening. This event is FREE and open to the public. This event will be held in our Band and Orchestra building (118 E. Main St. Kent, OH 44240) and will start at 6pm. Stop by for an incredible evening of education, entertainment, and jazz! Refreshments will be available in store (cash only.)
