The American custom line contains many models that were originally conceived and designed by the man himself, Vic Firth. The great performer and educator was the first to pioneer the manufacturing of a round striking surface on the drumstick. The line of maple sticks is filled out with models for all players and genres with a light and fast feel. 

SD6s have the same short taper and round tip of SD2 Bolero Vic Firth sticks. They have a hard spun felt ball at the other end of the stick. This mallet combination makes SD6 Swizzle Bolero sticks ideal for fast changes on cymbals.
