The 1847 SILVER made by C.A. Seydel Söhne is a corrosion-free diatonic harmonica corrosion-free with stainless steel reeds. The 1847 SILVER's reeds, rivets, coverplates, and reedplate screws are completely made of stainless steel. The reedplates themselves are constructed with a non-corrosive German silver. The 1847 SILVER also features a solid polymer comb.
The 1847 SILVER also has many of the same great features as its sister harmonica the 1847 CLASSIC. This includes less air-loss due to fine-cut reedplates. The reedplates have an optimized flatness and have extremely small tolerances between the reeds and reedplate. The cover plates are friendly towards both beards and lips because of the their rounded edges without any cuts at the mouthpiece. The harmonicas also feature an overtone-rich sound can spread out and project unhindered.
