Tim is the violin/viola instructor at Hiram College and conductor of the Hiram Chamber Orchestra. He is a graduate of Kent State University and has a Master of Music in violin performance. Other teaching has included Cleveland State, the Solon Center for the Arts, and Kent City Schools.
His performance experience spans four decades and includes the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, Trinity Cathedral Orchestra, the Ohio Ballet Orchestra, as well as the Akron, Canton and Youngstown Symphonies. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels from beginners through advanced players.
Kent State University. Devon is an award winning violinist whose background includes Regional and All State ensembles and the Cleveland Institute of Music Verve Chamber Players. She has also pursued a unique element in string playing by performing electric violin and viola in the renowned Lakewood Project which performs throughout the mid-west.
Devon also serves as a counselor for the Rock On! Orchestra Camp. Her private one-on-one studio teaching includes students of age levels ranging from pre-teens to adults. Devon’s style of teaching is personable and student centered and focused on the students individual needs and aspirations.
Diana performs with the Stow Symphony and the K.S.U. Orchestra. She has also been the Principal Cellist for Honor Orchestras in Texas, Ohio, and coached the Cello sections in the San Antonio, Texas Summer String Camps. She greatly enjoys teaching young students and sharing her extensive expertise while she completes her performance degree at Kent State.
