Yamaha's Motion Control Synthesis (man, that sounds fancy!) enables both sound engines to can be freely zoned or layered across eight parts in a single MONTAGE Performance. A matrix so powerful, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

Take advantage of the awesome "Super Knob" (or an expression pedal) to control up to 16 parameters simultaneously. Use Motion Sequences to add tempo synchronized events to your playing, and use the dedicated controls on the front panel to manipulate and change in real-time. Finally, the Envelope Follower converts audio into a control source to control any parameter you want! A drum loop could trigger the cutoff filter on the synth your playing, or a voice recording played through a synth bass sound for ultimate bass nastiness.
