This model was short lived, but a very innovative guitar for it's time. This particular 6105 has seen better days, but with a good cleaning and setup, we were able to bring out the life in it. These guitars were known for the new Hilo'Tron pickups and the Sonic Boom switch. The Sonic Boom circuit was one of the first active boost circuits to hit the market. Unfortunately, it is not currently functional is this guitar. When switched into the circuit, there is a hum and next to no signal output. Our tech believes it is salvageable, but with the, shall we say, primitive technology they did not want to damage it further. Everything else works as it's supposed to and does sound excellent. The guitar itself does play well and is holding up after all these years, but there are some cracks and separation. We have included pictures wherever there are imperfections. This guitar does come with the original hardshell case and ALL of the original hang tags and the filled out warranty card showing that this guitar was originally purchased on 3/30/1968 at a shop that was once about a 15 minute drive from us! Opening up the case is a true blast from the past, and a Gretsch collectors dream.

This 2019 317e is a well worn in, great sounding Taylor. The finish has sunken into the top, there are a few pick wear spots above the sound hole, a few minor dings on the top and back of the neck, and the saddle has been significantly sanded down. It borders on good and very good, but we decided good to be safe. This 1977 Hoffman was made for him by Charles Hoffman and was his 137th build. Based in Minneapolis, Charles Hoffman has specialized in building high class instruments for roughly 50 years. This beautiful dreadnought features a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and the classy Florentine cutaway. This guitar was a go to for a long time and has the scars to prove it. There have been a number of repairs on it over the years including a bridge and neck reset. There is extensive checking all over the guitar, but currently no cracks in the wood. Pictures have been added to show the wear as best as we could.
